I love using film as a way to reconnect people to our natural world, and adventure as an engaging vehicle to tell both difficult and uplifting stories from. I feel very, very fortunate to have travelled to lots of amazing places around the UK and the world to document wildlife, conservation and our human interaction with nature.

My most recent project has been producing and presenting a 3 x 1 hour documentary series, Scotland Ocean Nation (coming soon!) - paddleboarding around Scotland’s wild and dramatic coastline. The series investigates our human connection to the sea, the role it plays in all of our lives and in the climate and biodiversity crises. Over 800 miles and 10 weeks, I was immersed into Scotland’s most incredible wildlife, and interviewed people from all walks of life, from fishers to the children living in coastal communities, about its protection.

I have authored VTs on Springwatch and Autumnwatch and contributed to several other TV productions such as The One Show. I am the presenter for Seaful’s Vitamin Sea TV, and have worked with several organisations, such as RSPB and Earth Minutes, on online films.

My partner, the talented James Appleton, and I have made several award-winning films about my previous adventures and expeditions.

I regularly present and host live events, such as Kendal Mountain Festival’s Paddlesports session, conduct live and recorded interviews and talk on podcasts.

The Media page gives more information about programmes I have presented on and contributed to. For more information, please get in touch.
