Plastic Free Coastlines

I am proud to be a Surfers Against Sewage Regional Rep and Plastic Free Coastlines Ambassador.

I started volunteering with Surfers Against Sewage in 2014, running community beach cleans and supporting the Message In A Bottle campaign, petitioning for the reintroduction of a Deposit Return Scheme in the UK, as part of my Cornwall expedition.

I am a proud member of my local Plastic Free Coastlines campaign, working in my community in North Devon alongside passionate individuals and engaged business owners to stop the flow of plastic at source. The sense of community spirit, connections made and pride that has been associated with this campaign from the word go has filled me with hope and made huge tangible change.

I would strongly encourage anybody looking for how they can effect positive change to stop plastic pollution in their community to get in touch with your local Plastic Free Community or create your own. With Surfers Against Sewage I feel motivated and supported by a tribe of like minded passionate people who I am proud to call my friends.
